Bethesda released their Fallout 3, it featured only Real-Time Gameplay and no Tactical Gameplay. The game was featured on third person and first person perspective, not isometric. Nevertheless, the game was critically recieved and spawned a sequel, Fallout: New Vegas.

Obsidian Entertainment Edit

Obsidian Entertainment was what became of the Black Isle Studios staff, due to the team of Obsidian's long experience with Fallout. Much of Van Buren's plot was created to be canon with explanations in Fallout: New Vegas. Fallout: New Vegas also uses many ideas not considered canon from Van Buren.
